Former NOAA meteorologist David Dilley has submitted an essay below that has 2 parts: 1) How the government has been starving researchers who hold alternative opinions of funding, and 2) climate cycles show we are starting a cooling period.

Readers will recall that David Dilley is a 40-year meteorology veteran and the producer of the excellent video: “Is Climate Change Dangerous?“, which first was presented at NTZ. Since then the video has been viewed more than 10,000 times and the NTZ story shared in social media over 800 times.

For over 15 years an inordinate proportion of government and corporate research grants have been awarded to universities for a single specific purpose: to prove human activities and the burning of fossil fuels are the main driving mechanisms causing global warming.

Unfortunately agendas by strong arm politics and the suppression of contrary views have become the primary tools used to manipulate the media, local and state governments (and in turn the general public) into believing what they want us to believe.

Human Research Program (HRP) Operations:

Lindgren and Yui initiated their Flight Day 30 (FD30) Ocular Health performing vision tests, tonometry, blood pressure measurements, and answering a vision questionnaire. The Ocular Health protocol calls for a systematic gathering of physiological data to characterize the risk of microgravity-induced visual impairment/intracranial pressure in ISS crewmembers. Researchers believe that the measurement of visual, vascular and central nervous system changes over the course of this experiment and during the subsequent post-flight recovery will assist in the development of countermeasures, clinical monitoring strategies, and clinical practice guidelines.
Kelly participated in Interactions-2 which is a Russian experiment in which both 1-Year mission crewmembers are participating. The goal of the investigation is to study the patterns of intra- and inter-group (interaction with Mission Control Center (MCC)) dynamics during the long-term spaceflight of an international crew.
Kelly and Kornienko performed their morning Reaction Self-Test and will perform another session prior to sleep. This week-long session is in advance of the sleep shift required for the 42 Soyuz relocation later this week. Reaction Self-Test aids crewmembers to objectively identify when their performance capability is degraded by various fatigue-related conditions that can occur as a result of ISS operations and time in space (e.g., acute and chronic sleep restriction, slam shifts, extravehicular activity (EVA), and residual sedation from sleep medications).
Kelly and Kornienko are performing a week of sleep logging. The Sleep ISS-12 experiment monitors ambient light exposure and crew member activity and collects subjective evaluations of sleep and alertness to examine the effects of space flight and ambient light exposure on sleep during a year-long mission on the ISS.

At first, he wasn't particularly thrilled with the unified spacetime idea and dismissed new four-dimensional geometry proposed by Hermann Minkowski, as "superfluous" pedantry but he eventually accepted the idea and so must we.

As Arthur Schopenhauer expressed, "the most insignificant present has over the most significant past the advantage of reality" and such a belief cannot be so easily dismissed.

The Phoenix is known in various forms and by various names throughout the Middle and Far East, the Mediterranean, and Europe. It is a symbol of resurrection. The name Phoenix may have come from the Greek phoinix and may be related to phoinos (blood-red).

In ancient Egypt the Phoenix was called the "Lord of Jubilees," and was considered to be the ba (spirit) of the Sun God Ra. In Mesopotamia the Phoenix symbolized by the horned and winged solar disk. Alchemists used the Phoenix to symbolize the color red and the successful end of a process. The medieval Hermeticists used the Phoenix as a symbol of alchemical transmutation.

Legends tell that the Phoenix had feathers of red and gold, the color of the rising Sun. It had a wonderful melodious voice, which became mournful with approaching death. Other creatures were then so overcome by its beauty and sadness that they fell dead.

Previously unknown rock paintings, covering rock shelters in the Kondoa district in central Tanzania, have been discovered by Maciej Grzelczyck, archaeologist from A. Mickiewicz University in Poznań, Poland and winner of the Ministry of Science programme “Diamond Grant”.

Grzelczyck also started an intensive ethnological research project, through which he hopes to understand the importance of the discovered paintings.

Kondoa district is famous for its large number of rock paintings made over thousands of years. However, only a selected area is on the UNESCO World Heritage List.

CYRUS THE GREAT CYLINDER – LEGACY OF THE ANCIENTS

The Cyrus Cylinder, sometimes referred to as the first “bill of human rights,” traces its origins to the Persian king Cyrus the Great’s conquest of Babylon in the sixth century B.C.

Almost 2,600 years later, its remarkable legacy continues to shape contemporary political debates, cultural rhetoric and philosophy.

One of the most celebrated objects in world history, the Cyrus cylinder is a fragmentary clay cylinder with an Akkadian inscription of thirty-five lines discovered in a foundation deposit by A. H. Rassam during his excavations at the site of the Marduk temple in Babylon in 1879.

In this text, a clay cylinder now in the British Museum, Cyrus describes how he conquers the old city. Nabonidus is considered a tyrant with strange religious ideas, which causes the god Marduk to intervene. That Cyrus thought of himself as chosen by a supreme god, is confirmed by Second Isaiah; h is claim that he entered the city without struggle corroborates the same statement in the Chronicle of Nabonidus.

A second fragment, containing lines 36-45, was later identified in the Babylonian collection at Yale University. The total inscription, though incomplete at the end, consists of forty-five lines, the first three almost entirely broken away.

The text contains an account of Cyrus’ conquest of Babylon in 539 B.C.E., beginning with a narrative by the Babylonian god Marduk of the crimes of Nabonidus, the last Chaldean king (lines 4-8).

How to Digitally Record/Video a UFO sighting:

Stabilize the camera on a tripod. If there is no tripod, then set it on top of a stable, flat surface. If that is not possible lean against a wall to stabilize your body and prevent the camera from filming in a shaky, unsteady manner.

Be persistent and consistent. Return to the scene to videotape and record at this same location. If you have been successful once, the UFO sightings may be occurring in this region regularly, perhaps for specific reasons unknown, and you may be successful again. You may also wish to return to the same location at a different time of day (daylight hours) for better orientation and reference. Film just a minute or two under “normal” circumstances for comparison. Write down what you remember immediately after. As soon as you are done recording the experience/event, immediately write down your impressions, memories, thoughts, emotions, etc. so it is on the record in writing. If there were other witnesses, have them independently record their own impressions, thoughts, etc. Include in this exercise any drawings, sketches, or diagrams. Make sure you date and sign your documentation.

Always be prepared. Have a digital camera or better yet a video camera with you, charged and ready to go, at all times. Make sure you know how to use your camera (and your cell phone video/photo camera) quickly and properly. These events can occur suddenly, unexpectedly, and often quite randomly, so you will need to be prepared.
