SpaceX Dragon CRS-1
It's go time. The era of commercial space travel is officially here. It got underway on October 7th, 2012, 8:35 pm EDT (US) with the successful launch of SpaceX's Dragon spacecraft atop a Falcon 9 rocket carrying a half-ton of equipment and supplies to the International Space Station.
SpaceX CRS-1 (Falcon 9/Dragon):
- The first-ever contracted Commercial Resupply Services (CRS) mission for NASA/ISS
- Preceded by an equally significant test flight May
- The beginning of NASA's "new normal" filling the void left by the space shuttle fleet
- A clear sign that space is open for business
- To be followed, within a
few years, by SpaceX and other companies in the
COTS and CCiCap/CCDev programs delivering crew
to the space station
The mission is a "passing of
the torch" event signifying a historic transition from
the old world to the new world as humanity takes a big step toward
becoming a truly spacefaring species, toward setting
foot on Mars, where our destiny and genesis await in suspended animation.
Transit Rituals
From the viewpoint of multicontextual interconnectivity, SpaceX CRS-1 delineates the same symbological architecture found underlying the "Transit Ritual 2012" early June when shuttle Enterprise sailed up the Hudson River in perfect synchronization with the Venus Transit in the sky and the Queen's Diamond Jubilee celebrations on the other side of the Atlantic.
Four months later (October), it's Endeavour's turn to dance with the Dragon, rolling through the streets of Los Angeles, completing a bi-coastal Transit Ritual.

Indeed. According to mythology golden apples grow in the Garden of the Hesperides near the Atlas Mountains (guarded by a dragon).
Even Endeavour's LA Transit was all about "Trojan" as the shuttle's final destination, the California Science Center, sits right next to the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum which is home to the USC Trojans football team! (Hap tip to reader Scott for this local insight.)
We are dealing with an undeniable pattern here with many profound (and ominous) implications.

Elon Musk founded SpaceX ultimately to go to Mars. That's his goal, his dream. The company is built on that passion. Based on his impressive accomplishments so far, he just might do it too. Perhaps around 2023 per his projection, much earlier than NASA's timeline. He might become the first man on the Red Planet. He has already stated he is willing to jump on the first SpaceX mission to Mars and that he hopes to die on Mars. Commitment is not an issue. It's a matter of cost and technological capability. And Musk thinks he has more or less figured it all out. He thinks he can do it. And I wouldn't bet against him.

Timing was key, for August 29 was:

2004 Athens Olympics opening
ceremony (closing ceremony was on
August 29)...

"Meet New Prometheus - Elon Musk"
The founder/CEO/CTO of SpaceX just reiterated his ultimate goal of going to... Mars!
Just 40 years old and Musk has already built three successful, groundbreaking companies - Paypal, Tesla Motors, and SpaceX. Wow. Obviously on a mission, this guy has foresight, intelligence, ambition and everything else needed to get things done... to make his vision a reality. Exit Steve Jobs; Enter Elon Musk? I mean, this guys is definitely a... "Prometheus"! He is also a Tony Starks/Iron Man.
[...] You heard it here first. He is important, for the human race, for its future. For he will indeed most likely help mankind reach the Red Planet - the land of Apha & Omega... the Land of the Lost. One of the biggest moments in history. He has "destiny" written all over him. (Within a few years, there will inevitably be conspiracy theorists/religious nuts who will start claiming he's the "Antichrist". Start the countdown! :) )
Multicontextually interesting to note, too, that his first big company Paypal resonates with "Papal". Prometheus as the creator of mankind is certainly a father figure...

The term "hyper" implies extra/super (dimensions), a "hyper-loop" would therefore imply a loop with an extra twist that goes beyond the norm, potentially to infinity. It would be an "Infinite Loop"... a la Apple's headquarters street address...
That's of course a company founded and was until recently led by Steve Jobs, our former "Prometheus". And, of course, the creative mind behind the fifth mode of transportation dubbed "Hyperloop" is that of our new "Prometheus", Elon Musk. Yet another sign of a Promethean torch being passed from Jobs to Musk...

We are in a time loop. Our past is is our future, our future is our past. Destiny is genesis, genesis is destiny. Such is the nature of the paradoxical divine "Gift" we received, creating a set of "time jump" points along the timeline of our reality we call history including the big one coming up later this century, something that happened at the beginning of history, giving rise to civilization. It was/will be the forbidden fruit, it was/will be the fire of Prometheus, it was/will be Pandora's box, it was/will be the Trojan Horse. It was and will be... Mars.
