The "future" can also be seen as a lattice, but in a different way.
As you can see everything in the "future" lattice is in constant movement. This movement is a result of the fact that at any given "now" moment something can happen in the "now" which "changes" that which may have been pre-programmed. Think of a dinner date you've planned or anything else that you've planned in the "now" which is "planned" to happen in the "future."
