Signs of the Times in Code Form? Introducing the TimeWave, The I Ching and The Webbot
I am preparing an analysis of two systems that purport to measure emerging and future aspects of our reality. This article serves as a brief introduction and provides leads to more in depth information to the two systems in question so that my analysis is a bit easier to digest.
The analysis will also have a Tzolkin calendrical overlay to see if any patterns or correspondences emerge between the 3 systems. Recent releases of information on the system popularly known as the Webbot show uncannily precise correlations with Terrence Mckenna’s TimeWave, the other of the two systems in question.
Surfing the TimeWave
TimeWave theory is based on the mathematics of the ancient Chinese divinatory system known as the I Ching or book of changes. The famed ethnobotantist Terrence Mckenna is the person responsible for developing TimeWave theory. The TimeWave takes the form of a software program that generates a wave graph plotting a timeline over 4000 years in duration.
The claim made by Mckenna is that the waveform charts the ebb and flow of novelty in our world. A most fascinating aspect to the TimeWave is that the time line comes to an end about 1 month shy of the December 21, 2010, the date the Mayan Long Count Calender cycle starts anew.
The TimeWave was developed independently of Maya Calendrics. A coincidence you might say, perhaps, but more study and some time is needed to be sure.
I suggest the article, Terence McKenna’s Time Wave Theory for more in depth information and history on the nature of the TimeWave, its basis the I Ching and its evolution.
In the following video Terrence McKenna gives a lively overview of the TimeWave, the I Ching and the approaching singularity.
Enter the Dragon
The I Ching is a Chinese divinatory system over 5000 years old. I won’t delve into the intricacies of the I Ching in my article because the above link provides plenty of information.
But I will add that the 64 Hexagrams of the I Ching have been correlated with the 64 Codons of the DNA. Another coincidence you say? Please review this article for details on the correlations between the I Ching and the DNA.
In my own work on Maya calendrics and more specifically Tzolkin cosmology I have correlated the structure of the Tzolkin code with the structure of the DNA code to reveal a perfect one to one correspondence between the two systems. At some point all of these “coincidences” amount to something significant.
The manner in which the author of the article describes the similarities between the organization and function of the I Ching and the DNA codes may also be applied to the Tzolkin code.
Meet the Webbot
The Webbot also known as the Alta program purports to analyze the linguist quality of emerging web content. Its designers claim that certain types of language serve as predictors of large scale events. Please review this link for more details on the nature of the Webbot.
I was prompted to write this article based on the results of the latest Webbot report. Dates given by the Webbot report coincide with features on the TimeWave that correlate with the Webbot dates in question. A follow up article will show the correlations I am referring to and I will also show intriguing correspondences between the Tzolkin cycle and the TimeWave.
