The December 2012 Solstice
& The Vision of Aldebaran

& the 2013 New Year

Nick Anthony Fiorenza

Astronomical Myth is a "picture language," imagery that articulates the qualities of cosmic intelligence expressing throughout the greater heavens and through our lives. We are not separate from the greater heavens, from the stars and planets around us, or from our beloved Earth, but are intimate parts of this dynamic, continually unfolding heavenly symphony. This entirety is our cosmic consciousness, the totality of our being. To explore the greater heavens and the heavenly cycles is to explore that which we are—our embracing consciousness and our spiritual evolution.

The stars would not be in the heavens
if we were meant to walk in darkness.

2013 Overview

Sosltice December 21, 2012 Astrological Apect Art - Nick Anthony Firoenza
Primary events occurring on the solstice and into 2013 presented in this article include:
The Saturn-Pluto-retrograde Jupiter Yod began to form in November 2012 and became fully active in December 2012. It is one of the key planetary configurations of the December 21, 2012 Solstice, which sets the energetic for the New Year as well. This Yod morphs into the Saturn-Pluto-Vesta Yod in late December through January 2013, and morphs back into the Saturn-Pluto-Jupiter Yod on the March 2013 Equinox, with Jupiter then direct.
The December 2012 Solstice chart also includes the very significant Sun-Juno conjunction on the Gate of God of Earth's Precessional Cross—key for partnerships of all types. The Sun-Juno conjunction is sextile to Neptune and squares the Dwarf Planet MakeMake, which lies in sidereal Virgo and conjoins the anti-Vernal Point of the Precessional Cross.
Juno is the asteroid of covenant relations and is about mutual respect and equality in our relations. Juno's very significant alignments throughout 2012 have catalyzed many shifts in relationships. Its recent retrograde at the hand of Ophiuchus and new synodic cycle with Earth impelled partnerships to shift into a greater level of maturity and mastery. Having made passage through Ophiuchus, it now makes its synchronistic arrival at the Gate of God conjoining the Solstice Sun.

Additional Events occurring in 2013

The Jupiter-Uranus-Pluto T-square starts in early August and continues through April 20, 2014. The Yod occurring now through the March Equinox is precursor for this next mobilizing event, stimulating yet greater innovative radical change.
The Uranus-Pluto Square 2012-2015 continues, with two exact squares, one in May and one on the November Solar Eclipse. The synodic (heliocentric) square occurs on November 23, 2013, which is the actual square in the 138-year Uranus-Pluto synodic cycle that began on January 7, 1966. This event marks the shift from "stimulus to action" to "initiating action." All of 2013 will continue to provide our stimulus to initiate radical action for change.
Other events include the Saturn-Neptune Trine occurring in June through July; and a Saturn-North Lunar Node conjunction creating a Yod with Vesta to Uranus (in direct aspect to Pluto as well) in October.
There are two solar eclipses and three lunar eclipses in 2013. A sidereal Aries Solar Eclipse occurs in early May, surrounded by two Lunar Eclipses. A sidereal Libra Solar Eclipse occurs in early November (at the time of the exact Uranus-Pluto square). A Lunar eclipse precedes it in October.

Note to Lunar Planner Subscribers and to Visitors

There is a lot of new information throughout this article that is not in the December 13, 2012 Lunar Planner. Likewise, the embracing detailed day-to-day content that provides a deeper context, which is common to the monthly lunar planners, is not included in this article.

About Synodic Cycles

Synodic Cycles are created when two (or more) planets align in their orbits around the Sun. The synodic cycle theme, defined by the planets involved and the star alignments at the time, will unfold until the two planets align again, marking the completion of the synodic cycle and the beginning of the next one.
There are many synodic cycles with unique astrological themes occurring simultaneously, creating a harmonic symphony of creative unfoldment in consciousness. Synodic cycles can be thought of as longer-term underlying currents, much like the backdrop chorus of a symphony, providing the underlying astrological context guiding our evolution.

The Solstice occurs on December 21, 2012 at 11:11:37 GMT (4:11 AM MST). The December Solstice defines the "astronomical" New Year. This is when Earth is at a location in its orbit around the Sun where Earth's north pole is tilted furthest from the Sun. At this time, the line of sight to the Sun is at its closest point in Earth's southern hemisphere (creating mid-summer for our southern friends). Although mid-year for those in the southern hemisphere, it is of course mid-winter in the northern hemisphere. Either way, for Earth, this is when the solar fire begins to move upward through the polar backbone of Earth and her magnetic field, igniting Earth's kundalini, marking the start of another orbital cycle around the Sun.
The planetary configurations occurring on the solstice set the underlying energetic expressing throughout the following annual cycle. Thus, the solstice astrological chart helps to provide insight into the entire New Year to come.
In addition to the First Quarter Moon’s stimulus, there are several other prominent planetary configurations occurring. One of the most significant is the Sun-Juno conjunction, which is sextile to Neptune and is square to the Dwarf Planer Makemake, which resides on the anti-Vernal Point, and which is opposite the Pallas-Uranus mid-point. Another is the Venus-Saturn synod (Sun-Venus-Saturn alignment) in sidereal Libra, which initiates the new 230-day Venus–Saturn synodic cycle. One of special significance is the Saturn-Pluto-Jupiter Yod that began to form in the previous November 13, 2012 lunar cycle, now with Venus activating the Yod as she moves to the midpoint of the Saturn-Pluto sextile and lies opposite Jupiter—activating the prominent Antares-Aldebaran axis. The Lunar Nodal axis, our magnetic pointer, lies on the cusp of the Taurus-Scoprio, with the South Lunar Node conjoining Sedna, the Centaur Asbolus, and the star Algol of Perseus.

The Sun and the Gate of God

The Solstice Sun conjoins the Gate of God of Earth’s Precessional Cross, at 5° sidereal Sagittarius. This conjunction is NOT unique to 2012, nor is the conjunction exact at this time, as has been confusingly made popular and perpetuated by some people not understanding the astronomical facts. The Sun’s conjunctions with the Gate of God and the Gate of Man (which are the nodes in the ecliptic of the fixed galactic equatorial axis of Earth’s Precessional Cross) on the December and June solstices are common to a decade period in Earth’s ~25,000-year precessional cycle.
Solstice Sun - Gate of God in sidereal Sagitarius
The 1998 Solstice Sun in the galactic plane.
* Attempting to define the exact Precessional Cross to an exact time, month or day, perhaps even in a specific year, is merely academic for several reasons. One is that the galactic plane is not merely a thin line like one would draw on paper. This line is merely drawn as a frame of reference. It does not mean there is some actual shift in mass, quantum flux, or any other energetic shift as we cross this line. The plane of our galaxy is not a thin line, it is a thick and complex band of billions of stars and energy. There are many more reasons as well. See The Timing of Earth’s Precessional Cross.
Solstice Sun - Gate of God
The December Solstice Sun lies exactly on the Gate of God (the galactic equatorial node) when the vernal axis is exactly perpendicular to the galactic equatorial axis.
The Sun’s recurring conjunctions with the Galactic Equatorial Nodes are due to the formation of Earth’s Precessional Cross—when the moving vernal axis is perpendicular to the fixed galactic equatorial axis. The cross was exact several years ago, peaking in 1998, thus the solstice Suns were closest to the Galactic Equatorial Nodes then. However, the orb of the Solstice Sun’s conjunctions with the galactic equatorial axis widens very slightly around this time because of Earth’s very slow precessional rate (~1° every 72 years). The Solstice Sun (December 21, 2012) is now merely 00° 09’ past its exact conjunction with the Galactic Equatorial Node (GEN)(Gate of God)—thus still in a tight conjunction.
In theory, we are now more than a decade past the precessional crossing, and thus are past the time of receiving impetus for "the need to change," and are now in a time of needing to "initiate change." Thus, waiting on change to happen, whether on this solstice or any other date is missing the point, as it is now up to us to create change in how we participate on Earth.
In addition to the potentially many unknown factors involved that make reducing the occurrence of the Precessional Cross to an exact moment (and the Solstice Suns' alignment with the galactic equator), many years pass while this alignment moves just a fraction of a degree, as shown in the illustration below. The Solstice Suns' conjunctions with the Galactic Equatorial Nodes (Gate of God and Gate of Man) remain in a ±1° orb for 144 years surrounding the measured theoretical alignment in 1998.
Orb of Earth's Precessional Cross

Consider also that this event occurs in a spiraling vortex of evolutionary time, and the translation of this event stretches and expresses through a series of interweaving astronomical cycles--cycles that articulate this precessional moment. Thus, we are not waiting for some calendarical event to occur, we are in this evolutionary portal moment-by-moment—NOW. The choices we make moment-to-moment in our daily lives determine the nature of our passage.
Learning to live in the present (rather then in grief over the past or in anticipation for a better future) is a part of gaining one's self mastery and becoming an illumined being—something that is cultivated through the maturing process of the soul. This is another reason why waiting on some event outside of self to occur so we can live in the present is rather antithetical.

The Time of Global Change is at Hand.
What is the end of the World for some is a New World for those who realize it is.

The Sun’s location conjoining the Gate of God of Earth’s Precessional Cross at the time of the Astronomical New Year (December Solstice) is of course significant, but it is not that which defines the uniqueness of this specific solstice alone, no more than a Sun Sign alone defines a person. The nature / theme of the lunar cycle in which the solstice occurs, the lunar phase in which the solstice occurs, along with the additional planetary configurations and where we are in their longer-term cycles, all create the uniqueness of each solstice / new year.
The solstice occurs just into the action quarter of this Ras Alhague lunar cycle, which began on December 13, 2012. This makes our new year one of “initiating action” upon this lunar cycle’s theme—to demonstrably live as awakened illumined beings / species in responsible mastery of self and in how we use our creative power in the world; and as revealed by the First Quarter Moon’s stimulus to action.

The December 13, 2012 Lunar Cycle Overview

The New Moon of December 13, 2012 lies in late sidereal Scorpio conjoining the recently discovered planet Quaoar (pronounced kwah-whar). The New Moon conjoins Ras Alhague (head) and Theta (right foot) Ophiuchus. Also of influence are Atria of the Southern triangle, heart chamber of the soul; the Terzan-2 Globular Cluster / X-Ray Burster; and Lesath, the sting of the Scorpion.
The minor planet Quaoar was discovered in June of 2002. Quaoar was the name given to the “creation force” by the Native American Tongva tribe who were the original inhabitants of the Los Angeles basin in Southern California.
Quaoar impels a “harmonious revolution” and inspires our return to the “sacredness of life,” to realize all things in life are sacred, and that it is our responsibility to have respect for natural order and to live in harmony with it—without this we do not have respect for our selves. More about Quaoar.

(Star Names add by Nick Anthony Fiorenza)
Ophiuchus lies north of (above) and on the ecliptic, standing over the Scorpion. The body of the Scorpion swings south of the ecliptic, under the legs and feet of Ophiuchus. Only the head of the Scorpion crosses the ecliptic in the earlier part of the sign. Because Ophiuchus actually crosses the ecliptic, it is the thirteenth ecliptical constellation lying in the sidereal sign of Scorpio. Ophiuchus holds the serpent (Serpentis) coiled around his body with the head of the serpent reach toward the Northern Crown (Corona Borealis), which lies above the Chelae (claws) of the Scorpion (the scales of Libra).
Ophiuchus is the demonstrable exemplar of one who has claimed mastery over the very raw creative forces governing life and death. Ophiuchus and the sidereal sign of Scorpio are associated with our education about the use of raw creative power. Our New Moon stars invite us to embrace the harsh lessons of life (Sting of the Scorpion), and to let them become the elixir that allows our transmutation into illumination.
Uranus completes its retrograde on the New Moon as well, inviting radical change and spontaneity as it and Pluto tighten in orb (less than 2°) as they approach their synodic (heliocentric) square, which occurs in late 2013. Now throughout 2013 brings stimulus to radical and revelatory action in the 138-year Uranus-Pluto synodic cycle that began on January 7, 1966.
A complete exploration of this lunar cycle, including all of the lunar phases, Ophiuchus, the stars, planets, their cycles and meaning is presented in the December 13, 2012 Lunar Planner (for subscribers).
Excerpt from the Lunar Planner - New Moon Summation:
Our Quaoar New Moon impels us to stand empowered in the initiatory forces of life, to allow a transmutation that becomes possible by unconditionally embracing / feeling all emotion (e-motion is the crystallized resistance to the motion of experience). This is to surrender the cellular patterns that hold us at a lesser vibrational resonance and is that which transmutes our external experiences into true inner power. This allows us to demonstrably live from experiential-gained wisdom and to participate at a more refined or higher-order resonance, and to subsequently step forth into a higher office awaiting us. This transmutational process is governed by the limbic part of the brain, the non-thinking part of the brain that governs primal instinct, feeling, and emotion. The key here is not to analyze our emotions, which results in judgment and blame, but to feel all emotion with total unconditional acceptance—with a wide open heart.
Our New Moon also invites us to return to the sacredness of life, to live in attunement to the purity of nature, to return to a primitive or prime energetic. Primitive does not mean less developed, as is its modern connotation, but means being closest to source, attuned to a pure unadulterated level of awareness. It invites us to embody our souls’ light and to radiate this light moment-by-moment—through our hearts, through every cell of our bodies and into the world. The more we radiate this light the more of it we receive to radiate and the more we illuminate.
The Sun-Quaoar conjunction also marks the midpoint of vision and realization in the current Earth-Quaoar synodic cycle. This cycle began on June 13, 2012. It was a compounded synodic cycle with Earth, Venus, Pholus, Ixion and Quaoar, presented in the May 20, 2012 Lunar Planner, a solar eclipse lunar cycle and also that of the Venus Transit. Our New Moon also provides opportunity to intuit more about Quaoar and its influence in our lives. The actual Sun-Quaoar conjunction occurs on December 14, the day after the New Moon.

The Solstice Sun & Juno

The Sun’s conjunction with Juno on the Gate of God is extremely significant. It brings emphasis to partnerships and relationships of all types, and to mutual cooperation and communication in relationships throughout our new year.
Juno
Juno, goddess of love, is the asteroid of covenant relationships, soul colleagues, and true lovers. In the astrological chart, Juno indicates the nature of the issues and opportunities in significant relations of all sorts: those that are of a personal nature to those of political leaders and nations of the world. Mature Juno is diplomatic, tactful, cooperative, and mutually trusting. Mature Juno expresses with a sense of equality within self that provides the ability to draw true partners and those of equality into one’s life. There is an acceptance of another’s truth or opinion without need to challenge or debate. There is an ability to honor and support others in their own choices and decisions. Mature Juno expresses in mutual support and unconditional love to allow each other to grow and change through whatever issues surface.
Juno’s placement in the astrological chart is one of several points that determine the types of significant relations drawn into our lives. Juno specifically is involved with drawing our true soul-mates or twin-hearts—those truly compatible. Because Juno is where we deal with our inferiority / superiority complexes, and if this issue is prominent, partnerships drawn in earlier life can be full of lessons regarding such issues and not much else. Once a certain level of clarity is attained within self regarding the asteroid issues, true soul level covenant relations begin to show up. This does not mean we still do not grow regarding Juno issues, but there are those individuals with which we may also have a mutual soul bond and mission to pursue together.
Potential Juno issues can manifest as superiority / inferiority complexes or other inequality issues.
More about Juno.
Star Chart December 21, 2012 Solstice
The Path of Juno & The Solstice Sun-Juno Conjunction
Juno's path across Zubeneschamali occured on the 2011 December Solstice, impelling relationships to move forward into their dharma, from antiquated karmic or behavioral patterns of the past—a part of the 2012 annual energetic. Juno then continued toward its retrograde station (square Mars) in March 2012. It ensued to retrograde around Yed, the hand of death of Ophiuchus, where it began its new synodic cycle in May of 2012. This retrograde and its new synodic theme impelled individuals to claim a new level of self-mastery with potent forces impelling us to let old patterns to die. This may have catalyzed a parting or sorting in some relationships of inequality, where one party was changing but the other was not, or it may have strengthen the bonds of partnerships of equality, where both parties were choosing to pursue new levels of self-empowerment, or it may have brought new partnerships into being. Juno completed this process at its mid-July direct station, where it would then carry this energetic through the body of Ophiuchus to its synchronistic arrival to meet the Sun over the Gate of God on the December 2012 solstice. Here, conjoining the Solstice Sun, Juno not only brings vision and realization regarding its new synodic theme, but also sets a significant energetic for partnerships to move forward from the growth and strength gained throughout the previous year as a principle theme for the entire new year ahead. Juno will continue to its next synod (Sun-Earth-Juno alignment) in sidereal Capricorn in the midst of its next retrograde in mid 2013.

The Sun is 00° 50’ to its conjunction with Juno on the Solstice, in the high-energy crescendo of this conjunction. The Sun-Juno exact conjunction occurs on December 22, slightly after the solstice and about a degree past the Gate of God—all tightly conjoined. Juno, having past through Ophiuchus since its synod, now lies over the Gate of God and under Tau and Nu Ophiuchus of the tail of the Serpent.
The Sun-Juno / Gate of God (Galactic Equatorial Node) stars include Al Nasl of Sagittarius; Theta Ara; Tau and Nu Ophiuchus; Xi and Nu of the hand of Hercules; and the Solar Apex.
Sagittarius, stargate to Galactic Center, is commonly referred to as the Sagittarian Centaur, Zen Archer, or the First Horseman whose arrow points toward Galactic Center, the heart of our Galaxy, from which expresses the cosmic intelligent force that forms and suspends our entire Galaxy. Sagittarius, both a galactic constellation and an ecliptical constellation (lying upon the galactic equator and the ecliptic), oversees the "Gate of God" (5° sidereal Sag)—the primary reference point for the cycle of Earth’s ~25,000-year Precessional Cross, created by the intersection of the plane of our galaxy and the plane of our solar system.
The Sagittarian Centaur is where the first and highest spiritual light is found, our Galactic City of Light, and is responsible for the higher spiritual education of all intelligent life on Earth. Overhead is the constellation Scutum, Galactic shield of the Holy Cross, which is emblazoned with the symbol of the Holy Cross (the cross in a circle), which is both the astronomical symbol for Earth and Earth’s Precessional Cross, which governs the evolutionary cycle of the soul. Sagittarius is supreme defender of the High Truth of the Precessional Cross—ensuring the spiritual and evolutionary fulfillment of humankind—one who is willing to live, fight, and die for this Truth.
The Lagoon Nebula M8 at the Gate of God
The Lagoon Nebula
Like brush strokes on a canvas, ridges of color seem to flow across the Lagoon Nebula, a canvas nearly 3 light-years wide. The colors map emission from ionized gas in the nebula were recorded by the Hubble Space Telescope's Advanced Camera for Surveys. Also known as M8, the nebula is a star-forming region in the constellation Sagittarius. Image Credit: NASA
Sagittarius is the Spiritual Warrior. On a personal level, Sagittarius inspires demonstrable action to live our deeper inner truths, to express that truth through an undaunted Zen focus to hit our target, to achieve our highest ideals and dreams. The Sagittarian Archer is generally self-taught, of spiritual wisdom gained through raw experience. Sagittarius is the sanguine inspirationalist, of lofty vision and higher ideals.
Sidereal Sagittarians can only go for the totality of their dreams. They state their truth and call a spade a spade. For them to pursue less to would be denial of the galactic truth they live and breathe. Loyalty to their higher vision is all they know, to deny them their intimacy with life, their majestic space, or pursuit of their spiritual mission, is to break the sprit of a stallion that has known only the wild and free.
In shooting their arrow of Truth they often will destroy that which must die, the false truths and false gods of fear that lay hidden within self. It is this that causes the typical Sagittarian to often seem blatant and tactless. Behind this veracity is however a galactic fire and spiritual love which few comprehend, and those that know of this find the Centaur to be a tremendously loyal friend.
This is also the solar theme for each New Year occurring at this time in Earth’s Precessional Cycle, as long as the December Solstice Sun conjoins the Gate of God—a several decade period.
The Trifid Nebula M20 at the Gate of God
The Trifid Nebula, M20, is easy to find with a small telescope and a well-known stop in the nebula rich constellation Sagittarius. But where visible light pictures show the nebula divided into three parts by dark, obscuring dust lanes, this penetrating infrared image reveals filaments of luminous gas and newborn stars.
This spectacular false-color view is courtesy of the Spitzer Space Telescope. Astronomers have used the Spitzer infrared image data to count newborn and embryonic stars that otherwise lie hidden in the natal dust and glowing clouds of this intriguing stellar nursery.

The Sun–Juno conjunction occurring a degree later (day after the solstice) also conjoins the Solar Apex. The Solar Apex (also called the Sun’s Way) marks the unique location in the heavens toward which our Sun is “currently” traveling, which lies north in the heavens near the Vega star system in Lyra. The Solar Apex is held open by the outstretched hand of the god–man, Hercules, who stands upside-down in the heavens with feet (soul purpose) in the realm of the Gods and hands (daily work) in the realm of incarnate souls. The Solar Apex embodies the unique and majestic path of the soul and leads to the evolutionary fulfillment articulated by Vega, the Harp Star. At a personal level, the Solar Apex asks us to honor that we each have a soul path that is totally unique to ourselves, a path which is beyond what others may see or even relate to. The Solar Apex invites us to honor and to walk our very unique sole/soul/solar path’s in the world—to take a stand for our personal truths no matter what those paths may look like to others or how they may or may not fit in with mass-consensus.
The themes of the Solar Apex, The Gate of God, the tip of the Zen Archer's arrow, and the dazzling surrounding nebulas all amalgamate. Here we are asked to take aim and undauntedly pursue our ideals and dreams in total trust. To Believe! This amalgamate asks us to focus without hesitancy or doubt upon our soul purpose in life and to know that our unique paths, although often obscured, nest within the greater directive and in the spacetiming of the evolutionary cycle of the soul collective on Earth. Here we are asked to live true to our soul intent and to live and act in the now, in the moment-to-moment focus, undaunted in the zeropoint power of Divine Love and Truth.
Our Solstice Sun-Juno conjunction inspires partnerships and relationships of all types to pursue and live for a higher truth, to let lesser pursuits and petty differences fall away, and to undauntedly focus upon higher aspirations, dreams and goals. It inspires exploration and travel into more refined levels of consciousness and to live our own unique paths and pursuits, undaunted by the conventions of the past or by attempting to fit into the status quo, by what partnerships “should” look like. It impels co-participation with mutual respect for other's unique pursuits, and to amalgamate our unique efforts for a greater ideal—to live for and in the majesty of Galactic Awareness and in the zero-point of Divine Love.
This conjunction also marks the mid-point of vision realization in the current Earth-Juno synodic cycle that began at the right hand of Ophiuchus holding the neck of the Serpent on May 19, 2012, presented in the April 21, 2012 Lunar Planner. Thus our Solstice Sun-Juno’s inspiration is also the revelation about this current cycle.

Excerpt:
Juno’s new synodic cycle demands a significant maturing in our relationships and in how we co-participate, in how we use and express our raw creative power in the world and amongst ourselves. It also impels a sorting in relationships that invites those who are choosing the higher path of the soul, who are more self-empowered and functioning beyond a victim mentality, and who are responsible leaders and teachers to come together to create a new world paradigm beyond the turbulent times we are moving through.

Sun-Juno Sextile Neptune

The Sun-Juno sextile Neptune in Aquarius is an aspect of strength in creative vision, here impelling us to unite our dreams and visions in strength and mutual support, and to apply our visionary efforts with audacious leadership to create a new bridge into a sustainable and socially mature world, as protector of the people, a world based upon the higher truth that the Zen Archer stands for. It also requires discernment to see that which is a real path forward from that which is illusional.
Keep in mind that we are still just beginning the Chiron-Neptune synodic cycle that began in February of 2010. We are now just 6° into this 85-year long cycle. Thus, the theme of this synodic cycle is always of influence when considering any aspects to Neptune or Chiron at this time. This synodic cycle was presented in the February 14, 2010 Lunar Planner, which include the New Moon Chiron Neptune conjunction in early sidereal Aquarius, conjoining Sadr, heart of the swan. The theme of that lunar cycle is one and the same as the Chiron-Neptune synodic cycle theme.

Excerpt:
The Chiron-Neptune synthesis, in part, inspires us to create entirely new, revolutionary and visionary alternatives to cross the vast abyss currently upon us. It may also require we discern that which are real alternatives that can truly form a bridge into the future from those that are impractical fantasy. Either way, the point is not for us to fix or re-build that which is crumbling around us, but to create a new world paradigm, a new societal structure fitting to our emerging new world consciousness.

Sun-Juno Square Makemake

Makemake conjoins the North Galactic Pole in 2013

Makemake
Makemake (pronounced MAH-keh MAH-keh - “e” is pronounced “ay” in Polynesian) is the Polynesian name for the creator god of humanity in the mythology of the South Pacific island of Rapa Nui (Easter Island). Makemake was recently discovered on March 31, 2005, and thus its astrological influence and expression in your chart is exploratory. Based upon an exploration of Makemake’s orbital parameters and its recent role during the 2008-2011 economic turn, Makemake appears to bring attention to leadership issues regarding the administration of resources; and in areas involving economics and finance. It may also impel strategic planning and enterprising action to create environmental conditions that ensure a healthy, prosperous and abundant life for groups or for the people in general. Makemake may also act to sort out those who are truly worthy of being in a leadership role from those who are not.
Makemake is currently making passage over the anti-Vernal Point at ~5° sidereal Virgo. (The vernal axis is the moving axis of Earth's Precessional Cross, with the Vernal Point at ~5° sidereal Pisces). Makemake lies north of the eclipic conjoining the North Galactic Pole (NGP) in Coma Berenices.
Makemake moves rather slowly (as does Haumea), about 1.25° per year in ecliptical longitude. Makemake is just now (2013-2014) making a significant shift as it moves into the purer qualities of Coma Berenices, and the spiritual realm of the NGP and the Super Galactic Center. At the start of the finacial crisis in mid-2008, Makemake moved into a few year opposition to Uranus, and conjoined Saturn in opposition to Uranus in 2009, which occured in late Leo and under the auspices of Benetnasch and Canes Venatici, over the hind of the Lion—a very different energetic (presented in the 2008-2011 Timeline).

The First Quarter Moon of each lunar cycle draws an external stimulus to initiate action as we move from the inspirational quarter of the lunar cycle into the action quarter. Our First Quarter Moon occurs on December 19-20 in early sidereal Pisces conjoining the Vernal Point of Earth’s Precessional Cross. The Moon lies between Pallas and Uranus, while Sun’s lies about a degree (one day) from its conjunction with Juno, asteroid of partnerships and relationships of all types. The Sun lies between Galactic Center and the Gate of God (GEN). The Moon conjoins Scheat of Pegasus, Gamma Phoenix; and Alpha Sculptor and the Sculptor Galaxy—the details of which are presented in the December 13, 2012 Lunar Planner.

Excerpt:
Our First Quarter Moon (square Sun-Juno) stimulates action in partnerships, in mutual cooperation, and to apply our creative intelligence in new or unconventional ways that serve to re-create our lives and a socially just world. It stimulates action that is compassionate, empathic and imaginative. It also stimulates Earth’s Precessional Cross, which impels us to co-create evolutionary change in our daily lives and in our world, and to integrate the corporial and spiritual, a feat requiring emotional clarity and maturity.
This First Quarter Moon’s stimulus to action is also stimulus leading into the Solstice, which follows, and is a part of the energetic for the emerging New Year, 2013.
the Sculptor Galaxy NGC 253
A spectacular new image of the Sculptor Galaxy (NGC 253) has been taken with the ESO VISTA telescope at the Paranal Observatory in Chile as part of one of its first major observational campaigns. By observing in infrared light VISTA’s view is less affected by dust and reveals a myriad of cooler stars as well as a prominent bar of stars across the central region. The VISTA image provides much new information on the history and development of the galaxy. http://www.eso.org/public/news/eso1025/

The Solstice Moon

The First Quarter Moon star alignments are of significance because they define the nature of our "stimulus to action" in this lunar cycle. The Moon's placement at the time of the Solstice is also of significance, now just past First Quarter and into the action quarter of the lunar cycle. The Moon, in sidereal Pisces, conjoins Alpheratz of Andromeda and Alderamin of Cepheus. Also of influence is Theta Ceti and the Irregular Galaxy IC 1613 in Cetus and Epsilon Pisces. This is also the ecliptic longitude of Jupiter's perihelion (the location where Jupiter is closest to the Sun during its orbit around the Sun), thus of strongest influence and also resonant at this zodiakal location.
Pisces is the constellation of the two fishes--a dual sign. The western fish swims west, horizontally along the ecliptic plane, with its head marking the cusp of sidereal Pisces, marked by the “Circlet” of stars. The western fish articulates our primordial (and sleeping) nature, and our unconscious participation in the cycle of mortal life. The eastern fish leaps upward, vertically from the ecliptic plane, seeking a greater freedom at the shores of sidereal Aries. The eastern fish articulates our desire to ascend from our primordial origins, and our capacity to awaken from submersion in the tumultuous psychic emotional human world articulated by southern Cetus.

December 21, 2012 Solstice Moon
Alpheratz is one of four stars of the Great Square of Pegasus and is part of Andromeda and Pegasus both. As Alpha Andromeda, it is the head (psyche) of the princess in chains. By its alternative name Sirrah, it is Delta Pegasus. Alpheratz Andromeda is unadulterated, innocent, naive, uncorrupted by evil, wrong-doing or malice; and holds a position of extraordinary honor and advantage--this star often portending success and riches through social popularity and achievement.
Although the stage setting in which Andromeda is trapped (chained to rocks about to be devoured by Cetus) seems complex, there is a prerequisite for her freedom--an inner metamorphosis, an emotional maturing into the readiness to receive aid. Often time, we are ready to change only when in the chains of the human struggle. And our inner readiness precedes receiving support to change. Forceful attempts to break free before we are ready only tighten the chain of bondage. Here lies our need to break free from the human mold, from the genetic, cultural, and personal pattering forming our lives. Andromeda represents the struggle for freedom from the collective and tormenting forces of the psycho-emotional human world, to claim our true galactic birthright and evolutionary destiny. Alpheratz's fortuitous position ultimately brings success and reward in this worthy pursuit.
Beliefs are formulated from past experience. When we adhere to beliefs as facts rather than using them as stepping stones, we place limits upon ourselves that keep us from becoming something greater than we can currently conceive.
Alignments with Alpheratz can also indicate being caught in the power plays unconsciously created by the arrogance or denials of others. Alpheratz can also indicate our vulnerability to the emotional and psychic delusions of others, especially those in our genealogical line or karmic past--often manifesting as elaborate emotional dramatics. Alpheratz asks us to get un-entangled from the human psycho-emotional drama, or accept a sentence of bondage not rightfully ours.
Conjoining Alpheratz is the Irregular Galaxy IC 1613 in Cetus, also conjoining Theta Cetus and Epsilon of Pisces. Cetus is the techno-bureaucratic monster of collective human consciousness, the sea monster about to devour Andromeda in the story of Andromeda and the Royal family. Irregular galaxies can express as some abnormality or odd formation or experience, and in this case, as confusing psychic-emotional conditions or environments that can leave the naïve vulnerable to entrapping situations. It re-emphasizes the need for inner clearing, purification or emotional refinement so as to slip by what otherwise might be a devouring scenario in the bowels of ole' Cetus--adding to the theme of Alpheratz--not to sound too dramatic, but this is Cetus in Pisces.
In the far northern heavens is Nodus Secundus of Draco, the second node or fold in the ever-watchful Dragon, who guards the atlas of the heavens (North Ecliptic Pole). This is the Delta star of Draco, also called Altais, and also Aldib. Altais lies about 4° from the North Ecliptic Pole. Altais adjoins the stellar themes of the irregular shaped galaxy IC 1613 of Cetus, Alpheratz of Cassiopeia, and Alderamin of Cepheus. Altais of the Dragon reminds us to be watchful from a place of emotionally removed clarity in order to have perspective about the worldly drama lest we may fall into a sense of perpetual helplessness in what appears to be an irresolvable situation.
Here we are asked to become attentive to the fact that our intent of purpose can be diverted and dispersed by psychic-emotional forces that congest us when toxic physical conditions exist either in ourselves or in our environments, or when we are naive to such forces, or simply in mental-emotional denial about them. Our psychic-emotional fog can then perpetuate confused life scenarios, antiquated involvements, or entrapments that are no longer in our highest interest or serving our greater wellbeing. This initiatory gate of the Dragon provides an opening once emotional clarity is gained--to escape entrapment in the fear-based monster of collective consciousness.
The Andromeda Spiral Galaxy M31
The beautiful and nearly perfect shaped Andromeda Spiral Galaxy.
This mosaic of M31 merges 330 individual images taken by the Ultraviolet/Optical Telescope aboard NASA's Swift spacecraft. It is the highest-resolution image of the galaxy ever recorded in the ultraviolet. M31 is more than 220,000 light-years across and lies 2.5 million light-years away. On a clear, dark night, the galaxy is faintly visible as a misty patch to the naked eye. The irregular shape of the image results when the more than 300 images were assembled to make the final image.

Alderamin, the Alpha star of Cepheus, is the right shoulder of King Cepheus, father of the Royal Family and Princess Andromeda, often portraying one in an authoritative position. Alderamin imparts a quality of authoritative responsibility. With afflicted alignments, Alderamin can expresses as denial, avoidance, or turning one's head from dealing with the manipulative power plays causing our or other people's entrapment with a flippant attitude to do anything about them. Here we can live in submission to manipulative forces rather than to stand up for self and for those unjustly held in bondage, even when it is our responsibility to do so. With empowered alignments, Alderamin impels impartial and emotionally clearheaded authoritarian action to address entrapping situations in a way that provides resolution. Alderamin ultimately provides aid or solution, but often after what may seem like an initial aloofness. Alpheratz and Alderamin amalgamate to form a fortunate outcome, but sometimes drawn out through the emotional Piscean waters, and a long period of unwillingness or simple naivete to look at and acknowledge how we are immersed in a pool of psycho-emotional denial, and that our growth and maturity is prerequisite to our greater freedom of being.
Alderamin also conjoins Zeta Cepheus, which is ecliptically south of Alderamin, his other shoulder, and the two form a triangle to the Super Giant Garnet Star, Erakis, which lies a few degrees earlier in sidereal Pisces. The shoulders (responsibility of the King) dispense the wealth and fortuity common to Erakis (the Crown).
This is also the location Jupiter's perihelion. Thus, Jupiter's influence is significant and influential here. Through these stars, from the Garnet Star of Cepheus, through Alpheratz and Alderamin, to Revati of Pisces, we can see the nature of Jupiter's expansive mobilizing force in our lives, suggesting Jupiter supports abundance, has authoritative social influence, is of honor and advantage, and serves to free that which is held in bondage for the manifestation of a greater potential, and it imparts this responsibility.
Our Solstice Moon, nesting in the theme of the (Pallas-Uranus) First Quarter Moon, invites "action" to free ourselves from the psyho-emotional entrapments of human collective consciousness and the techno-bureaucracies perpetuating the tumultuous frenzy common to mass consciousness. It brings attention to the administration of resources, specifically financial, and impels the intelligent invovation to create a sustainable socialy just world. It also brings attention to the supression and sacrifice of females and impels action to set free the feminine priniciple on Earth.

The New Venus-Saturn Synodic Cycle

The Sun, Venus and Saturn align a few hours after the solstice, which initiates the new 229-day Venus-Saturn synodic cycle. This occurs in sidereal Libra. Stars setting the theme of this cycle include Syrma and the Purple Rose of Virgo; the Quasar OQ 172 in Bootes; Miaplacidus Carina of Argo Navis; Mulifain Centauri; and Delta Bootes.
This was the location of the Balsamic Moon in the previous lunar cycle, setting the seed and our focus for this lunar cycle. It was also quite near the location of the Venus-Saturn conjunction, also occurring in the previous lunar cycle, and which was a part of the forming Saturn-Pluto-Jupiter Yod. Thus, this energetic is rather significant and is a part of the solstice energetic and the new solar year.
The Purple Rose of Virgo

Miaplacidus, Beta Carina, is the second most important star of the Argo, after Canopus. "Mia" is of greater universal flowing waters of Source and "Placidus" is of grid-navigational-mapping. Miaplacidus involves the navigational mapping of cosmic evolutionary currents—evolutionary intelligence and how it expresses in time and space. Miaplacidus is of Astronomical-Earthgrid mapping, navigation, inner-dimensional travel, and related art-sciences and environments that support our greater evolutionary journeys in life. Living at or traveling to the right locations at the proper times in our lives is of significance to be in proper (space-time) harmony. The purpose of sacred geometry, naturally tuned architecture, and the art-sciences involving harmonics and resonance are all of significance here—many of the art-sciences that have been obscured, suppressed or lost to humanity—including the integrated knowledge of astronomy and astrology and its application in cartographical mapping on the Earth in space and time.
Conjoining Miaplacidus is Syrma, Star of Atlantis, which lies under the skirt of the Virgin and marks the knee of the Virgin. Syrma embodies issues relating to frozen genetic coding and the resultant crystallized emotional patterning incurred due to devastating or cataclysmic events of the past. Syrma provides inspiration for personal change and transformation, and articulates our need to unlock our frozen genetic coding and crystallized cellular makeup that keeps us stretched out of the present. Syrma alignments can bring deep-seated emotional patterning, especially suppressed grief, to surface awareness so we may clear it. Syrma also inspires the application of art-sciences (Miaplacidus – Earth-grid mapping) that can aid in this process, freeing ourselves from biological conditions and behavioral patterns that keep us frozen or stretched in a past-future time stream so we may enter the zero-point portal of now, which is the doorway to step forth into our evolutionary fulfillment.

Miaplacidus, Syrma, Delta Bootes and the Quasar OQ 172 of Bootes, the spiral (Pinwheel) galaxy M83, and the Purple Rose and supernova, all amalgamate. They inspire transcendence into our inner-core awareness or “near-field” to unlock the bounds of being frozen or stretched in space-time, in a mode of trying to release the past to get to the future, which keeps us looking outside of self (in a light-speed limited mode of perception) to acquire what we do not have in order to attain our fulfillment.
Venus is especially empowered due to the recent Venus Transit and her subsequent conjunctions and synods with several other planets, including Haumea (impelling a new birth of the feminine force); and also due to her placement in mid-sidereal Libra, where she is at home. This new 300-day Venus-Saturn cycle is about commitments of the heart and it impels us to bring the purer aspects of the feminine force into the existing structures of our lives. It is supportive of commitments and long-term bonds for working relations and it can motivate a balancing and stabilizing effect in the financial paradigm as well. It supports a maturing of relationships and a strengthening of the feminine. It inspires a more refined, cooperative and diplomatic expression of the (Saturnian) patriarchal forces in the world. This few-degree area of mid-sidereal Libra also inspires somewhat of a humanitarian expression, which is more innovative, progressive, embracing, open and supportive of evolved human relations.
This cycle also brings attention to our environments and to where we live, and to established structures in our lives. It invites us to consider if these structures and our environments have the proper resonance to support the expression of our greatest potential, and our greater evolutionary fulfillment and wellbeing.
It can also bring attention to fears associated with living from the heart and the need to unlock any frozen cellular crystallizations that uphold such fear. It invites us to demonstrably live in present time, from the passion of the heart and soul, and to create our lives from this heart place/space.

The Saturn-Pluto-Jupiter Yod & The Vision of Aldebaran

Yods in general: A Yod is formed by a sextile (60°) between two planets (a 0.1666666666… harmonic), which is a resonance of strength and stability. Planets in a sextile relation are allies and act in coherence. The apex of the Yod is a third planet that lies opposite to the midpoint of the sextile. The third planet is quincunx (150°) to the each of the other two planets (a 0.41666666666… harmonic). Quincunx (inconjunct) planets are incoherent, that is, they do not mix well or see eye to eye. Because of this, we may tend to isolate the two energetics until we realize and are willing to address the paradox they present. A quincunx provides an opportunity to find a creative solution that multiplies the abundance that can manifest from working with the two very different energetics. In the case of a Yod, we have two quincunxes. The opposition of the apex to the mid-point of the sextile creates a tension that “demands” a creative solution, that is, that the energetics of both planets in sextile are simultaneously applied to fulfill the energetic of the apex. It adds a direction to the flow of energy, a pulling force from the base planets to the apex planet. The two base points of the Yod, the sextile, can oscialte rather than work in strength until the theses energetics are applied to the apex of the Yod. This is why a Yod is sometimes called a Finger of God—the demanding finger pointing to the apex. All three planets must be in a tight orb with each other for a Yod to be fully active, with the planets in quincunx having an orb of less than a few degrees (generally not more than 3°). A quincunx is sometimes called an inconjunct in modern astrology, although classically, inconjunct is a more general term that included both the 150° and the 30° (semi-sextile), as both aspects are of an incoherent nature.
The Saturn-Pluto-Jupiter Yod began to form in the previous Nov 13, 2012 lunar cycle with Venus conjoining Saturn and Mars conjoining Pluto. The Yod is now fully active in this lunar cycle. It is first triggered by Mercury just after the New Moon as Mercury moves to the Saturn-Pluto mid-point opposite retrograde Jupiter. It is then triggered by Venus as Venus moves to the Saturn-Pluto mid-point opposite retrograde Jupiter on December 22 and 23, at the time of the Gibbous Moon. This "kite configuration" is one of the most spiritual of geometries, which underlies material geometric structures of form. Astrologoical kItes tend to open dimensional portals of perception—in this case the key is the heart. The primary planets of the Yod lie at the centers of their respective sidereal signs, Pluto in mid-Sagittarius, Saturn in mid-Libra, and Jupiter in mid-Taurus.
A new Earth-Jupiter synodic cycle began in the previous lunar cycle as well, conjoining Aldebaran of Taurus. The theme of that cycle is also the focal point of this Yod. This new synodic cycle theme, presented in the previous Nov 13, 2012 lunar planner, will fully engage when Jupiter completes its retrograde on January 30, 2013.
Saturn and Pluto want to work as allies in strength applied in creative solution through Jupiter and Jupiter’s synodic cycle theme. In order for this to happen, the Saturn theme and Pluto theme must be applied to the apex of the Yod, the Jupiter theme. The star alignments for Saturn , Pluto and Jupiter were also presented inthe Nov 13, 2012 lunar planner. So some of the following star material may be a bit redundant. It does however reveal the transcendent energetics of this Yod.
Saturn Pluto Jupiter Yod with Venus-Antares
Pluto
Pluto is a freeing and opening force; a pattern disrupter and deprogrammer. Pluto is independent, individual, and autonomous; an extremist, isolationist and loner; a revolutionist, and is non-accepting of limiting conditions. For a younger immature soul, Pluto can express as a controlling arbiter, however Pluto will ultimately make one face their own controlling issues. For an older mature soul, Pluto can be a valuable ally when worked with consciously, freeing us from antiquated behavioral patterns. Pluto's chart placement can indicate where we need to let go or surrender programmed patterns from early childhood and from previous incarnations. Pluto can bring up fears associated with survival, death and transformation; the fear to be alone, to let go, to release or to let die. Pluto brings attention to our attitude and issues we hold about authoritarian control and use of power, how we attempt to control and how we respond such control.
Pluto demands that we take responsibility for our entrapments in life and deal with the longer-term ramifications of our actions and life scenarios--and our karmic responsibility, extending beyond a mere lifetime. Pluto also demands that we address how we co-participate and cooperate with humankind in our daily lives from an all-embracing global perspective.

Pluto in mid-sidereal Sagittarius (Facies of Sag, Alpha Scuttum, AM Hercules) becomes a revealer of a greater truth. It does so by destructing false beliefs, and especially exposes the truth behind the use of power in the world and how we use our own personal power. It demands that we re-examine our moral codes based upon the greater truth being revealed. Pluto at this area of Sagittarius invites us to live for and uphold higher spiritual truths and principles. It strips us naked to look at self with truth and honesty, to look at what is and what is not working in our lives and why. It invites us to pursue and live for the revelations, truths and ideals that result.
Facies in Sagittarius M22 Globular Cluster
Facies M22

Facies, M22, is considered to be one of the finest globular cluster of stars in the heavens. It is elliptical in form and contains approximately 500,000 stars. It lies less than one degree north of the ecliptic, thus the planets frequently conjoin and synthesize with its essence. M22 marks the face of the Zen Archer and looks over the bow and hand of the Zen Archer. Facies brings undaunted conviction, stability and confidence to create and manifest our highest aspirations. The theme here is one of total honesty with self. Facies asks us to face our naked truth, focus our intent, and manifest it. To live in that honesty creates the strength and undaunted focus of the Zen Archer and his ability live for and defend his truth, and to hit the target of his ideals and dreams.
Often described as exotic and enigmatic, northern AM Hercules expresses a powerful magnetic synchronizing force capable of assembling spirit substance into exquisite order in form. Here is a spiraling but directed force to funnel our intent into ordered achievement.
Just above the Zen Archer bow, lying along the Galactic Equator, is Scutum, Galactic Shield of the Earth’s Precessional Cross, emblazoned with its symbol (the cross in a circle). Scutum is defender of Earth’s Precessional Cross—to see to the greater evolutionary fulfillment of the soul—that which the Zen Archer undauntedly lives, stands, and is willing to die for. In personal and practical terms, here is inspiration to live for, claim, and defend that which supports our greater evolutionary fulfillment.
The theme at this ecliptical location invites us to refine our form, to get into a proper stance in life, to reorganize and prioritize so we become one with our purpose in all aspects of our lives. There is no helter-skelter approach here, only undaunted clarity within and the execution of our purpose and intent to manifest our highest aspirations—lest we will merely blow in the increasing and accelerating winds of change.
Mars and Pluto conjoined at the start of this Yod (in the previous November 13, 2012 lunar cycle), which adds to the energetic here, in this case motivating the independent assertion of power in audacious and brave leadership based upon higher principles of truth and philosophy. It is a very action oriented energetic that impels exploration, discovery and new ways of learning.
Saturn
Saturn
Saturn
Saturn is of structure, form and time. Saturn’s force tends to solidify and concretize, to halt that which is moving. Saturn is slow and methodical. It imparts a need to be responsible, accountable, dependable and stable. Saturn also forces us to confront our fears and address our karmic issues.
Saturn, in its clear and evolved expression, provides the ability to create a solid foundation and stable form. It brings the capacity for concentration and moderation and the ability to apply past principles and knowledge constructively. Saturn instills confidence in one’s knowledge; and honors family and soul heritage.
Saturn in its diminished expression can be controlling, wanting to own others and dictate behavior for them. It can be oppressive, righteous and jealous; fearful of casual intimacy, touching and embracing, which instead must be controlled. It can produce an inability to be self-responsible and own up to life experience as being one’s own creation; thus resulting in victim consciousness where we blame life or others for our life experience. It can express a denial or avoidance of genetic and family heritage, such as fear or resistance use one’s birth or family name. It can produce an inability to ground, concretize and structure life; or produce difficulty with physical things, as well as well as with structure, organizations, legalities, and bureaucracies.
Saturn when acute or hyper can be obsessive, especially with the past, dogma, and belief structures. It is rigid, inflexible and can result in paralysis, broken bones, and physical deformations. It can be an inflictor of bondage, pain and injustices.
Primary associated bio-energy centers: Brain centers: Inherent Mental—brain stem and mid-brain. Skeletal structure, the hips, teeth, nails and hair—all calcium based organs.
Saturn
NASA's Cassini spacecraft has delivered a glorious view of Saturn, taken while the spacecraft was in Saturn's shadow on Oct 17, 2012, during its 174th orbit around the gas giant, Cassini was deliberately positioned within Saturn's shadow, a perfect location from which to look in the direction of the sun and take a backlit view of the rings and the dark side of the planet. Looking back towards the sun is a geometry referred to by planetary scientists as "high solar phase;" near the center of your target's shadow is the highest phase possible. This is a very scientifically advantageous and coveted viewing position, as it can reveal details about both the rings and atmosphere that cannot be seen in lower solar phase. Saturn has moved slightly further into mid-sidereal Libra as the Yod tightens in formation, now primarily conjoining Centaurus-A and the Omega Centarui Globular Cluster; the stars of the Southern Cross; and Nusakan and stars of the Northern Crown.
Centaurus-A is the "Temple of the Centaur," a place so unique that it seems oblivious to and undaunted by its surrounding cosmology. It nests within a very unusual galaxy (NGC 5128) not fitting into any galactic class, thus, unique as the Centaur is, it is unclassified. It is the closest active galaxy to Earth. Centaurus-A is a very deep pool of consciousness, the essence of pure consciousness. It is of quality, beauty, harmony, and perfection.
Centaurus A
"The jets and lobes emanating from Centaurus A (NGC 5128) have been imaged at sub-millimeter wavelengths for the first time. The new data, from the Atacama Pathfinder Experiment (APEX) telescope in Chile, which is operated by the European Southern Observatory (ESO), have been combined with visible and X-ray wavelengths to produce this striking new image."
Image & caption credit: ESO
South of Centaurus-A are the stars of the Southern Cross. The Centaur is protector of the Southern Cross and benevolent teacher of its principles. The four stars of the Southern Cross (Cruces) embody the original cardinal virtues seemly lost to most of humanity. This is the cardinality (pure intent) of the soul—embodied by the Kappa Crucis Cluster, the Jewel Box. The Southern Cross embodies the pure intent of the soul before the aberrations, confusions, attitudes, and beliefs incurred by the soul throughout its entire incarnational sojourn.
Centaurus-A invites us to create a contemplative or meditative harmonious space or environment from which to access our inner cardinal soul wisdom, our original and unique purpose and intent, which underlie the aberrations, false beliefs, and restricting concepts we may have placed upon ourselves. Centaurus-A invites us to enter a place of inner stillness, to relinquish the concepts of thought we associate with our existing lives. This inner excursion requires a willingness to go deep within and to allow a disintegration of the constructs of self we hold, our human mold, of what we think ourselves to be, and to emerge with a far deeper awareness of our true selves, the inner knowing of our true essence. We can then bring that pure essence, that intent, back into our life expression without the need to mold ourselves into mass consensus. The successful feat can result in an inversion or flip in consciousness—with a revelation of great magnitude, one that can change our lives forever.
The Omega Centauri Globular Cluster conjoins Cen-A at mid-sidereal Libra. Omega Centauri contains about ten million stars and is the most massive of all of our galaxy’s globular clusters—the largest and brightest globular cluster in the sky; and a favorite object for stargazers in the southern hemisphere. Omega Centauri appears almost as big as a full moon. Omega Centauri inspires one to access and boldly radiate their soul wisdom in its entirety. This is the power of the soul found deep within self, while in the Temple of the Centaur.
Centaurus-A also conjoins Nusakan (Beta), Eta and Theta of Corona Borealis, the Northern Crown, and the Quasar 3C 351 of northern Draco. This quasar inspires access to ancient time, when soul was pristine in its intent and purpose, and to pull this awareness into the present expression with passion, enthusiasm, art, and beauty to attain our evolutionary freedom and fulfillment, exemplified by Ophiuchus holding the serpent pointing its head to the Northern Crown. Beta, Eta and Theta of Corona Borealis impel personal action to find away through the labyrinth of obstacles in life that impedes us to achieve our personal fulfillment and evolutionary freedom.
The Saturn part of this Yod demands we delve within self to access our true soul-level intent and purpose beyond / before any aberrations, distortions or adulterations were incurred throughout our lives, even life times. It impels us to bring forth an inner equipoise from this deep pool of awareness and to demonstrably express it in our lives and in our relations. Saturn conjoined the Temple of the Centaur (Cen-A) is ideal to cultivate inner discipline and to access one’s true soul level strength and power through meditative techniques. Here Saturn impels us to take personal responsibility to create our lives from the inside out.
Jupiter
Jupiter
Jupiter
Jupiter imparts a mobilizing and expansive force. It stimulates fluidity in movement, vitality and enthusiasm. It is of reciprocity—how we receive and re-express that which we have gained as gifts to the world. Jupiter expresses in openness and willingness to touch, palpate and embrace life, people and experience. It imparts a kinesthetic and magnetic quality; and reveals our physical fitness, strength and coordination.
Jupiter motivates us to aspire for something larger in our lives, beyond our current bounds. Jupiter will tend to magnify and expand the qualities of any other planet that it conjoins. Jupiter is often associated with money, but not as much as Venus. This is because Jupiter is a mobilizing force and money is a mobilizing agent.
Jupiter is of higher or natural law, as compared to man’s laws. It is of Spiritual Truth and stimulates action upon our greater truth. Jupiter is serendipitous, opportunistic, fortunate and lucky; with taste for and appreciation of elegance end beauty (along with Venus). It is fun loving, good natured, free and independent. Jupiter provides the ability to participate freely in the material world and in universal flow.
Debilitated Jupiter can express as a fear of travel, movement or expansion. It can express a fear of loss or lack, thus hoarding in nature. It can be spiritually shallow. In its acute expression, Jupiter can be gluttonous, zealous, exaggerated, showy, and hypocritical.
Jupiter governs muscle coordination and motor skills; the muscles, ligaments, the lymph, buttocks and the legs, which are the pump for the lymphatic system. Associated brain centers are: Animation / Life—cortex, psyche, soma energy centre, and hypothalamus. Sensory Locomotion—mid-cortex, the kinesthetic and sensory motor area.
Jupiter, now fully in position to fulfill its dominant role at the apex of the Yod, prominently conjoins Aldebaran of Taurus.
Jupiter

The Eye of Horus

An Excerpt from a yet to be published work.
The Vernal Point (Birthplace) of Earth's Precessional Cross conjoined Aldebaran around 3000 B.C. This was when early dynastic Eqypt emerged from the pre-dynasic period.
Ancient Egypt’s relationship with Orion and the Bull is found in the vernal point’s movement, during the settlement of Egypt, through sidereal Taurus and over Orion (Orion conjoins and lies just under sidereal Taurus in ecliptical latitude). The vernal point precessed to the Gate of Man (the GEN at 5° sidereal Gemini) circa 4500 B.C. (~6500 years ago) at the time of the 180° collapsed cross. This ecliptical location lies just over the sword of Orion and aligns with Betelgeuse, the lucida of Orion. The movement of the Birthplace over Orion began at that time and continued through the first half of the age of Taurus, to about 3000 B.C. It was during this period that the receding waters allowed the fragmented peoples of the southern Nile highlands to descend and settle the lower fertile Delta, giving rise to Dynastic Egypt. Is this perhaps why we see Horus as Orion in a boat surrounded by stars in the Egyptian zodiak of Denderah?
Around 4100 B.C., the Birthplace moved across the cusp of sidereal Taurus, which aligns with the belt of Orion, and the Horns of the Bull. By 3500 B.C. the vernal point accessed the essence of Rigel, Beta Orion and by 3400 B.C., that of Kursa of Eridanus. Kursa is the beginning of Eridanus, the River of Life—marking the beginning of the journey down the Nile. Astrologically, Kursa signifies the commencement of new journeys or pursuits, while Rigel impels grandiose enterprising projects. Dynastic Egypt began circa 3250 B.C. when Namar, considered the first king of Dynastic Egypt, descended from the highlands and established the capital at Memphis.
By 3200 B.C. to 3100 B.C., the Birthplace aligned with the Shield of Orion, and by 3000 B.C., it aligned with Aldebaran—the lucida marking the center of sidereal Taurus. In all, the passage of the Birthplace over Orion, from sword to shield, lasted from 4500 B.C. to 3100 B.C., with the unification of Egypt occurring around 3150 B.C. The stellar qualities of the Birthplace’s passage through later Taurus, and over Orion and Eridanus during this time, clearly articulates this migratory journey and the settlement of Egypt. The reign of Dynastic Egypt continued through the second half of the sign of the Bull, after its alignment with Aldebaran, Eye of the Bull, circa 3100 B.C. to 1900 B.C.
Aldebaran, classically the Eye of the Bull, is one of the "Four Royal Architects" bringing order to the heavens. Directly opposite Aldebaran is Antares, Heart of the Scorpion. Both of these stars mark the centers of their respective signs. The other Royals are Regulus of Leo, Heart of the Lion (Leo), the law-giver; and humanitarian Fomalhaut in sidereal Aquarius. Aldebaran, the "Bull's Eye," means the mathematical center. Sidereal Taurus is the primogenitor of the zodiak, the Earth sign from which the bounty of life springs.
Aldebaran, an orange giant, is not a supergiant star like Antares or Betelgeuse, but is still 44 times our Sun’s diameter and shines with a luminosity of 425 times that of our Sun. It thus has significant influence throughout central sidereal Taurus. Aldebaran, Light of the Bull, embodies the principle theme of Taurus.
Aldebaran holds the vision for global leaders and world servers inspiring the administrative planning of world affairs, specifically for physical logistics and a global infrastructure designed to support humanity through evolutionary growth and change. Prominent alignments with the Aldebaran / Antares axis can express into the business and political arenas, and is of their leaders.
Aldebaran is a star of pioneering leadership. At a personal level, Aldebaran is of business and the home. It inspires vision and impels initiative to act for our physical wellbeing. Aldebaran inspires involvement with physical places, business and projects supportive of our modalities of living for self, family and friends. Aldebaran inspires us to take the physical action to manifest our visions in the physical world.

The Vision of Aldebaran

As the apex planet of this Yod, Jupiter impels wide-sweeping visionary action that establishes a socially sustainable and protective infrastructure for all people and all life. It impels the practical and well-grounded application of wealth and resources in an enterprising capacity to support the fundamental well-being of all life. Jupiter, on the Aldebaran-Antares axis, also impels expansive and mobilizing leadership in business and politics.
This Yod creates stimulus to creatively apply Saturn, with dedicated, committed, reliable and concretized action from a place of inner equipoise, wisdom and unbiased compassion, toward the manifestation of the Jupiter-Aldebaran theme. Jupiter pulls Saturn’s theme (and the establish patriarchal structures) into an expansive and higher-order expression that serves the Vision of Aldebaran. The Jupiter-Saturn quincunx motivates creativity to bring the laws of man (Saturn) into alignment with the higher spiritual laws of nature (Jupiter).
Simultaneously the Yod creates stimulus to creatively apply Pluto, a greater truth being revealed through the dismantling of the old world paradigm, toward the manifestation of the Jupiter-Aldebaran theme. Pluto also impels the application of personal power with the Zen Archer’s undaunted focus through the Jupiter-Aldebaran theme.
This is not something that just happens, Yods require work. This Yod is not necessarily easy, most are not. In addition Saturn and Pluto in Libra and Sag are both peregrine. This means they are in alien environments, somewhat as drifters and loners, and they can interact as loose cannons. This again stresses the importance of deliberately working to bring these two energetics into an allied relationship to express the higher and expansive ideals of Jupiter. In this sense Jupiter, as the Yod's apex, demands it.
Jupiter wants to mobilize and expand upon the Aldebaran theme in a new way, to bring our infrastructures into alignment with higher law and natural order. In order for this to occur, we must deliberately and consciously ally the Saturn and Pluto themes and apply them in our lives and in the world to support this expansive Vision of Aldebaran. This becomes a major creative opportunity and impetus forming the energetics of the 2013 New Year.
Jupiter impels an inward-focused expansion during its retrograde, and an attunement to a higher natural law, beyond man-made law, both within personal consciousness and within the form of leadership supporting life on Earth. After Jupiter completes its retrograde, it will return to its prominent place at the Aldebaran Yod apex on the Spring Equinox of 2013, at which time this Yod impels the outward-focused expansion and manifestation of the Jupiter-Aldebaran theme.

Venus Antares

Venus moves to the Saturn-Pluto mid-point conjoining Antares in mid-sidereal Scorpio in opposition to Jupiter. This occurs on December 22, a day after solstice, the first full day of our astronomical New Year, as we move into the Gibbous Moon and pollinating phase of the lunar cycle.
Generally, a Venus-Jupiter opposition can impel an over-confident over-indulgence and a desire for immediate gratification. Thus it is important to realize that band-aids used for immediate results do not provide real solution, neither in our external world paradigm or in our personal lives where a deep level of healing and evolution is required—something that unfolds in our continuing evolutionary spiral through time. In addition and as a part of this Yod, it is also important to realize that the Yod itself (nor the Solstice) is not some magical gateway that changes the world and our lives in an instant. Saturn’s influence requires steadfast persistence to build, albeit from a new place of compassion, wisdom and balance in mid-sidereal Libra (with the feminine influence of Venus). Pluto’s influence in Sag is one of holding long-term vision to pierce the veils of illusion and the false beliefs we adhere to (with Mars’ masculine influence of audacious action in leadership and which requires a serious redefining of how we use power on Earth).
Venus, now lying at the Saturn-Pluto mid-point, is semi-sextile to both planets, the other inconjunct quality. In this case, the Yod apex draws Venus along with Saturn and Pluto into an expression through Jupiter. Venus, lying opposite Jupiter-Aldebaran conjoins Antares, Heart of the Scorpion, in mid-sidereal Scorpio.
Antares, the 15th brightest star, is about 700 times the size of our Sun, and is one of the largest stars. It is quite elongated with a polar diameter about 63% of its equatorial diameter, red in color, said to rival Mars in brightness when they are seen together.
In classical astrology, Antares is the star of war and weaponry, and with expounded meaning, to challenge the established opposing politics (an arena common to the Antares / Aldebaran axis) with tenacious adamancy. This is especially in regard to taking a stand against the established conditions of our personal lives and against the established order or authority directing our lives when those conditions or that authority are no longer in our best interest nor supporting our evolutionary freedom and fulfillment.

However, It is only the less aware who mistake this power point in the ecliptic to mean fight or destroy what one still perceives as forces outside of self. Antares marks a point of empowerment in sidereal Scorpio, a point of immanation for those who have embraced their initiations and claimed their self-empowerment, who have graduated from playing the victim in life to a predetermined fate, and who have learned to take responsibility to create their destiny. The Heart of the Scorpion teaches us to realize the inseparable nature of life, to reconcile the forces within and without, to know of the oneness and inseparable permeability of the Creation Force—as is exemplified by Ophiuchus, who demonstrably stands over the Scorpion, the exemplar of this wisdom. Either way, Antares motivates us to take responsibility for our reality, for the lives we create, and to "take a stand" for our truth and to demonstrably and passionately live it.
Conjoining Antares to within a degree is Han (Zeta) Ophiuchus, Rho, Omega and Kappa Ophiuchus, and a Bright Reflection Nebula IC4603 in Ophiuchus. Zeta (Han) Ophiuchus is the star from which the left leg of Ophiuchus extends. Kappa Ophiuchus, north of the leg, marks the left shoulder of Ophiuchus.
The legs of Ophiuchus articulate emotional equilibrium, the stance from which he expresses his mastery. Han, Zeta Ophiuchus, and the stars forming the left leg of Ophiuchus, and Kappa, his left shoulder, impart the need to take personal responsibility to create an enduring emotional transformation.
The left leg and foot of Ophiuchus also conjoins Al Niyat of Scorpio, which forms the arteries of the Scorpion that connect Antares, the heart of the Scorpion, with the Scorpion’s head. Al Niyat is of our meridians and neurological function; and articulates our need to establish neurological equilibrium and harmony within self. This is not a mere mind over matter issue, but one that requires physical and emotional inner work.
Again we have the feminine force playing a key role. Venus-Antares impels a passionate confident and rebellious expression of the feminine force to help mobilize the Jupiter-Vision of Aldebaran theme, especially in the business and political arenas. Venus-Antares also impels the application of resources in a way that challenges the existing political-business arena and that supports mobilizing Jupiter's expansive new vision.
Venus is dignified in sidereal Taurus, at home. Here however, in sidereal Scorpio, it is at its detriment, thus it can impel the use of Venus' magnetic qualities or sexual forces to manipulate and control—and in opposition to Jupiter, this can accentuate that desire for instant gratification. This is of course a function of one's level of soul awareness and spiritual prowess—simply something to be aware of as Venus make passage through this area or the zodiac (December 12 through January 5). This Yod is NOT about instant solution. It is about persistence in finding creative solution throughout the first quarter of this year—through the March Equinox, as presented below.

The Jupiter bio-Harmonic Audio Meditation
For those who have the Planetary Bio-Harmonic Audio Meditations, The entire several-week period leading into the December Solstice and through the end of 2012 is an ideal time to work with the Saturn, Pluto and Jupiter audios—in that sequence. See this Month's Lunar Calendar for exact aspect times; or the "Lunar Cycle Timing Chart" found under the "Resources" menu on the Planetary Bio-Harmonics web page.
A note about working with multiple audios: Generally, allow some time (hours or even a day or two) between each audio for realizations, thoughts and feelings to emerge after each audio; but intuitively trust when you feel it is time to switch.

The Secondary Yod Activation of January 6, 2013

Saturn Pluto Jupiter Yod with Venus-Antares

Mars triggers a secondary Yod activation, as the Moon conjoins Saturn on January 6, and Mercury and Juno conjoin Pluto. Mars, in mid-sidereal Capricorn, is square to Saturn-Moon and trine to Jupiter-Vesta. Mars is exalted in sidereal Capricorn (much like an honored guest) and thus impels and independent and dynamic expression.
Retrograde Vesta conjoins Aldebaran and Jupiter at the Yod’s apex. Retrograde Jupiter now lies slightly before Aldebaran, conjoining the tempestuous Hyades star asterism.
All of this accentuates the theme of the original Saturn-Pluto-Jupiter Yod. Additionally, it brings emphasis to partnerships, communication with a challenge for audacious creative action in leadership.
The Moon will trigger the Yod again on January 11, just before the first New Moon of 2013.
* Vesta takes Jupiter's place, creating the secondary Saturn-Pluto-Vesta Yod, which will continue throughout the following Lunar Cycle, with Vesta stationing on the Yod apex on January 26, just before the next Full Moon. With stationing Vesta at the Yod apex, this Finger of God now demands a change in our focus, dedication and commitment. It also marks the full engagement of the new Earth-Vesta synodic cycle that began on December 9, 2012, presented in the November 13, 2012 Lunar Planner (now available to non-subscribers).

Vesta
Vesta is the asteroid of Focus, Dedication & Commitment; of physical, emotional, and mental clarity; and of self-respect. Vesta brings a capacity to be pure within self at all levels for the expression of one’s highest potential and true Essence. Vesta is of strength, purity, and perfection—of total dedication to purpose. Vesta brings attention to that which is of true importance to us and will ignite and burn away that which is not so we can become clear. Vesta is keeper of the sacred flame within self. Vesta asks us to examine our inner values, our passion in life, to become clear on it, and to use our creativity to keep that fire alive.
Potential Vesta issues are: scatteredness, with an inability to focus, commit or carry through; and avoidance of one’s true purpose. Vesta can express as denials to address the mental, emotional and physical purification to support being a pure bio-logical vessel for the expression of Spirit—the requirements to express our true soul intent and purpose. This can manifest as fear of commitment, fear of sex and intimacy in all of its forms, and an invalidation of the emotional and physical aspects of self.

The Final Saturn-Pluto-Jupiter Yod on the March Equinox

Jupiter, after returning direct in late January 2013, will return to the Aldebaran Yod apex on the Spring Equinox in March 2013—the action point in our new solar year—which fully engages the theme and energetic of this "Finger of God." Satrun and Pluto maintain a tight sextile throught this entire time due to their retrogrades as can be seen in the 2012-2013 Graphic Epemeris.
This Yod and its continued expression throughout the first quarter of 2013 precedes the Jupiter-Uranus-Pluto T-square that occurs from August 2013 through April 2014, another key and dynamic planetary configuration occurring during the 2012-2015 Uranus-Pluto Square.

The Solstice Lunar Nodes

The Lunar Nodes can be thought of as a magnetic pointer, from the South Lunar Node to the North Lunar Node. Star alignments, conjoining planets and aspects to the Lunar Nodes can reveal past patterns and how to evolve those patterns. The South Node stars and conjoining planets reveal an energetic to apply in new way through the North Lunar Node. This does not mean we abandon or reject the South Node energetic, but that we embrace it and express the South Node theme through the North Node theme—to express the South Node in an entirely new way. In doing so we establish a balance between the South and North Node themes, and we claim empowerment from the past and applying it into our future.
The Lunar Nodes are created by the intersection of the Moons orbital plane and Earth's orbital plane around the Sun. They precess around the ecliptic in an 18.6-year cycle. The Lunar Nodes currently reside on the Taurus-Scorpio cusps. The South Lunar Node conjoins Algol of Perseus and Zaurak of Eridanus. Also conjoining is the Minor Planet Sedna and the Centaur Asbolus.

Sedna
A planet-like object, or planetoid, orbiting the Sun at an extreme distance, in the coldest known region of our solar system was discovered in November of 2003. The planetoid (2003 VB12), was named Sedna for an Inuit goddess who lives at the bottom of the frigid Arctic ocean. Sedna is about one-quarter to three-eighths the size of the planet Pluto; and has an extreme elliptical orbit. Cold and removed, Sedna, approaches the Sun only briefly during her ~10,800-year solar orbit. Sedna curiously has a peculiar reddish color, like that of Mars.
Mythically, their are several versions of Sedna’s story. Basically, Inuit Sedna is a beautiful but vain maiden who is quite content living at home with her parents. She refuses several potential husbands but is finally coerced to marry by her father. She ends up marring an evil bird disguised as a man and is wisped away to a distant island for a life of misery. Her father comes to rescue Sedna, but on their way back in her father’s kayak the birdman attacks the kayak. In a vicious struggle and in fear of his life, Sedna’s father either inadvertently or deliberately pushes Sedna overboard into the frigid Arctic waters while severing her frozen fingers from clutching the boat. Sedna eventually drowns in dramatic scenario of deceit, betrayal and abandonment. Sedna becomes the goddess of the sea watching over the mammals of the oceans. Sedna has the head and torso of a woman and the tail of a fish—our mermaiden.
Being recently discovered, Sedna’s astrological influence is still exploratory. Based upon an initial exploration of Sedna’s astrophysical parameters, discovery, and myth, Sedna articulates the “return of the exiled feminine principle.” Sedna’s message is that humanity must recognize the truth about the suppression, persecution, abduction and exploitation of the feminine force and females in the world; and the mentality perpetuating such must be addressed and changed. Although it is quite obvious of our need for female’s re-emergence and balanced reintegration with the overly dominant patriarchal world, there is still dire hesitancy for such participation due to the often awry, deceptive and exploitative use of creative power by the masculine force in the world.
Sedna’s re-emergence suggests her purpose is to bring forth that which has been hidden, exiled, latent or suppressed; and specifically supporting the emergence of the long-suppressed feminine principle in the world; and the participation of females equally with males in all walks of life; prominently, openly and without fear, abuse, prejudice or exploitation.
Sedna appears to motivate action from a mature social platform, from an open, honest and inclusive humanitarian focus, into an active focus in leadership in the world; to break trail along a new path of discovery by demonstrating that a more feminine humanitarian type of leadership can provide the answers to the challenges our wold faces.
Potential Sedna issues may include: a refusal or hesitancy to participate in fear of being hurt, or from resentment of being hurt; abduction or abandonment issues (self-exile or forced exile); or fear of commitment.
Prior to 1950-1954 Sedna was south of the Celestial Equator (CE) in late sidereal Pisces. We might say that Sedna’s reemergence into the world was gestating in human consciousness up to this time. Sedna’s role supporting the emergence of the feminine shifted significantly around that time, and for those born at this time, as Sedna moved from being submerged in psychic-emotional sidereal Pisces onto the shores of sidereal Aries. Sedna was also crossing from south of Earth’s celestial equator to north at the same time--creating a strong drive to support the feminine reemergence in the world, for that generation and those to follow. We should begin to see another significant shift in the role of the feminine force in the world starting 2011, as Sedna enters the constellation of Taurus, and then in 2014-2017, as Sedna enters sidereal Taurus, supporting a more physically active and prominent participation of females in world. More about Sedna.

The Centaur Asbolus
Asbolus, the seer, lives in a state of “perpetual intuitive attentiveness” and is able to see events from a distance (like remote viewing) specifically attentive to events where misdeeds are occurring, or where that which is private is being violated. Asbolus responds as a protector of that which might be considered sacred to a specific group or culture, especially regarding the possessions of such a group, including the protection of land and sacred or private sites. Asbolus imparts a strong sense of “right use of will,” and without hesitation, will enter into a scenario where psychic-emotional confusion or manipulation exists to stop such disorder. Like most Centaurs, Asbolus can be rogue or radical in its nature, and is able to cut through or penetrate limitations with a mobilizing force to break up that which may be stagnant or held in stasis. More about the Centaurs.
Perseus expresses through the cusp of sidereal Taurus. In the story of the Royal Family (Queen Cassiopeia, King Cepheus and Princess Andromeda), this is where Perseus slays Medusa (his inner fears), lest he would have turned to stone (have become frozen in his fear).

Algol, Beta Persei, marking the cusp of sidereal Taurus, is the head of slain Medusa held in the hand of Perseus, also the Arabic Demon Star. Of the Gorgons, Medusa, who is crowned with seven snakes for hair, represents the chaotic and self-defeating forces within self, driven by fear. It is fear that freezes us in our tracks, the force that turns us to stone. Perseus cannot look at Medusa directly lest he will turn to stone. He instead uses his shield to see her reflection. This mythically articulates our need to look at that which we hide behind to see the demon apparently outside of self, created by our own fear.
Algol indicates an initiatory and experiential process is required or is at hand. This process begins by slaying our deepest fears to claim our true personal power, or be forever frozen in our tracks unable to claim our fulfillment and complete our greater purpose on Earth. Alignments with Algol can draw a relentless assault of experience that can block or divert us from our purpose until we realize the monster is within--the fear based reflection of self. Algol forces us to look at self rather than at the apparent monsters in the outer world--to recognize they are of our own projection, to own and embrace the demon within. Slaying our fear establishes an inner neurological order that in turn allows us to take empowered action in the physical world. Perseus, the hero, embodies the essence of establishing this order. After claiming his mastery on this initiatory journey, Perseus goes on to free entrapped Andromeda form being devoured by Cetus and fulfill his destiny. Perseus creates the city and rules a kingdom that bores the Persian world. He and Andromeda bore a family as well, two daughters and seven sons. Hercules was descendent of Perseus and Andromeda through one of their sons. (Robert Graves, et. al.)
Zaurak of Eridanus is a point along the river of life where we must claim and trust our own inner light because our path in the world may not be entirely visible. Here we are motivated to trust the inner light we have cultivated through our past intiatory trials (Aries) and step forth into the Earthy world of Taurus (physical action) regardless of any residual fears we may hold.
Conjoining Algol from the south and also contributing to the cusp of sidereal Taurus is Caelum, the sculptor's chisel. Caelum articulates our need to forge through matter, the laborious methodical experiential process required in the physical world to overcome our trials and manifest our visions. Caelum articulates our need to sculpt our lives, chiseled away at a bit at a time just as the sculptor chisels rock to reveal the sculpture waiting to emerge.
Early Taurus is of will power, strength, and stamina, of trusting our inner knowing, our inner heart's light to build our lives and all that supports us in the physical world.

The North Lunar Node, on the cusp of sidereal Scorpio, conjoins Beta Centauri; the Nuclear Galaxy AP-Libra; Alpha and Beta Lupus; Unakalhai of Serpens; and the Irregular Galaxy NGC 2915 of the Chameleon.
Early sidereal Scorpio teaches us how to graduate from the karmic clutches of the Scorpion, from falling prey as victims to the entrapping forces around us, fighting in struggle to live, and to realize that we experience a wide dynamic of forces that mold our experience; and that it is up to us to claim our mastery in the midst of these forces.
The first few degrees of sidereal Scorpio, approaching the head of the Scorpion, resides in the domain the Centaur. The benevolent and wise Centaurians are teachers, leaders back to the original cardinal virtues embodied by the Southern Cross, which the Centaur stands over and protects. The benevolent Centaur teaches the right way to live to attain one’s self-mastery in the physical world and subsequently to claim one’s evolutionary freedom from entrapment in the karmic re-incarnational process of soul growth (or our past patterns of growth in general).
The Centaurian training is not merely an intellectual understanding of these principles but is learned through an experiential journey moment-by-moment that leads one to true inner wisdom and knowledge on an energetic neurological level, resulting in the inner realization that makes self-mastery of the primal forces of life actualized and right action crystal clear.
Alpha Centauri, the main star of the Centaur, is a binary star system, with two suns in close orbit. It is known as the “Alpha Centauri AB” system. Alpha Centauri is the fourth brightest star in the sky but it is the closest star to our star system. Alpha Centauri articulates the master Centaur, the teacher, the shower of the way. It embodies the wisdom of the Centaur.
Beta Centauri, on the cusp of sidereal Scorpio, articulates the process itself, the way. Beta Centauri impels is to do whatever is required in the physical world, with assertive action, to achieve our paths of self-mastery in the world--exemplified by Ophiuchus, who stands over the Scorpion and holds the serpent, with the neck and head of the Serpent reaching for the Northern Crown, an image that articulates attaining freedom from entrapment in the cyclic re-incarnational process of soul growth and from our karmic-based patterns of the past.
The mythical image here is of the Centaur placing the “wild beast” Lupus, which he holds firmly clutched in his right hand, on the Centaur’s altar to be sacrificed. The meaning is that a sacrifice and offering of the beast within must be a conscious and deliberate action and requires one to energetically take hold with determination and conviction because our lesser patterns of behavior will not go to the altar of transmutation willingly.
In fact the first few degrees of early sidereal Scorpio can express as avoidance, of contortions and squirming to get out of having to surrender lower self and to address, own up, and take responsibility for our life experience in self-mastery.
Here the theme of sacrifice and offerings arise, but here sacrifice does not mean self-sacrifice, in the true sense of the word it means to give up a lower office for a higher office. When offering up the lesser (lesser modes of involvement or patterns of behavior), we are also faced with taking on a greater responsibility, moving from victim consciousness, where we feel powerless and merely acquiesce to the conditions of life in which we find ourselves--caught in the clutches of the Scorpion--to taking responsibility for our life scenarios and consciously choosing a life path that supports our experiential growth, our emotional and spiritual maturity, and our physical wellbeing and fulfillment.
Also conjoining from the southern heavens is the Chamaeleon, generally a symbol of adaptability, change and new beginnings, the Chamaeleon articulates the ability to adjust to any situation, but not through subservience or acquiescence, but in mastery of self and with intuitive sensitivity and individuality.
In essence, the stars of this area of the zodiak provide us the opportunity to graduate into a new level of self-realization. In this process, we become aware that we create our experience and are responsible for the life scenarios in which we find ourselves. We shift from feeling helpless, even justifying why we are entrapped as if victims of life placing blame outside of self, into a greater maturity and wisdom. We learn to express mastery over the dualistic forces that were once entrapping even destructive, living from our greater soul wisdom in unity consciousness (exemplified by Ophiuchus standing over the Scorpion). Here we are impelled to become fully self-aware and self-responsible, with the ability to use and direct the creative forces of life and define our own evolutionary destiny.

The Sedna-Asbolus-Algol South Lunar Node suggests the need to slay any fears or forces that reinforce the suppression or stop the re-emergence of the feminine force in the world. Asbolus adds impetus to act as protector and impels us to intercede with a rebellious passion where violations and any other social injustices occur, especially those against females, due to Sedna's presence. It also suggest the need to bring forth the feminine force within self to express through the North Node theme. Keep in mind we have both the feminine principle, which is in us all, male and female; and we have females, the women in the world, who especially embody this aspect of consciousness. Sedna is of a long-standing suppression / exile of the feminine stream of consciousness, one ingrained in our human genetic lineage. Males can carry these patterns as fear to express the feminine principle (caring for all life) or to support the emergence of the feminine principle in society, as well as to support the emergence of women into their rightful place in the world. Female ingrained fear can also be very deep seated, along with resentment or wide range of emotional pattering, perpetuating hesitancy to fully emerge. The North Lunar Node impels us to apply this South Node energetic, not from a place of victim consciousness, nor of fear of being persecuted or even annihilated, but from a place of empowerment and mastery of the feminine force in the world, to exalt this power within self and its outward expression along with the inner conviction to do whatever it takes to make it happen.

How to Digitally Record/Video a UFO sighting:

Como registar digitalmente ou gravar um vídeo de um avistamento de um UFO:

Stabilize the camera on a tripod. If there is no tripod, then set it on top of a stable, flat surface. If that is not possible lean against a wall to stabilize your body and prevent the camera from filming in a shaky, unsteady manner.

Estabilize a camera com um tripé. Se não tiver um tripé, então coloque-a em cima de uma superfície estável. Se não for possível, então encoste-se a uma parede para estabilizar o corpo e evitar que a camera registe de maneira tremida e instável.

Provide visual reference points for comparison. This includes the horizon, treetops, lampposts, houses, and geographical landmarks (i.e., Horsetooth Reservoir, Mt. Adams, etc.) Provide this in the video whenever is appropriate and doesn’t detract from what your focus is, the UFO.

Narrate your videotape. Provide details of the date, time, location, and direction (N,S,E,W) you are looking in. Provide your observations on the weather, including approximate temperature, windspeed, any visible cloud cover or noticeable weather anomalies or events. Narrate on the shape, size, color, movements, approximate altitude of the UFO, etc and what it appears to be doing. Also include any unusual physical, psychological or emotional sensations you might have. Narrate any visual reference points on camera so they correlate with what the viewer will see, and thereby will be better able to understand.

Faça a narração do vídeo.

Be persistent and consistent. Return to the scene to videotape and record at this same location. If you have been successful once, the UFO sightings may be occurring in this region regularly, perhaps for specific reasons unknown, and you may be successful again. You may also wish to return to the same location at a different time of day (daylight hours) for better orientation and reference. Film just a minute or two under “normal” circumstances for comparison. Write down what you remember immediately after. As soon as you are done recording the experience/event, immediately write down your impressions, memories, thoughts, emotions, etc. so it is on the record in writing. If there were other witnesses, have them independently record their own impressions, thoughts, etc. Include in this exercise any drawings, sketches, or diagrams. Make sure you date and sign your documentation.

Always be prepared. Have a digital camera or better yet a video camera with you, charged and ready to go, at all times. Make sure you know how to use your camera (and your cell phone video/photo camera) quickly and properly. These events can occur suddenly, unexpectedly, and often quite randomly, so you will need to be prepared.

Look up. Be prepared. Report. Share.

Olhe para cima, Esteja preparado, Relate, Partilhe.
